The Pout-Pout Fish Goes to School
Pout-Pout Fish is scared of his first day of school. He is nervous that he isn’t smart enough to go. He does repeat that a few times in the book. I think many children have the same fears, so I was okay explaining it and talking through those feelings. At the end of the book, the teacher explains to Pout-Pout fish that he is smart and he can do it. It’s a great message at the end. We have to work through our fears and be the best ‘fish’ we can be.
