We made an adorable sheep craft this week! It was a quick and easy kid’s craft that turned out great! One of the things I love about this craft is that it uses mop strings instead of regular cotton balls. Your children are going to love this fun sheep craft!

Here’s what you need for the Sheep Craft:
- Sheep Template
- Card Stock
- Markers
- Scissors / Glue
- Mop String
What to Do:
① Print the sheep template on card stock, color and cut it out.
② Cut up the mop strings and glue them to your sheep.
The craft is really that easy! If you don’t have mop strings, you can get them online. Sometimes the dollar store carries them as well. An alternative would be to use cotton balls. We didn’t use them in this craft because we wanted to do something different. The mop string was a huge hit! Having the children cut it into smaller pieces was a great way to work their fine motor skills too.
In the past, we have even died the mop string different colors. It’s done similar to dying Easter eggs. You fill cups with water and food coloring. Submerge the string into whichever color you want. Leave it in there for a couple of minutes until it reaches your desired color. Then, lay the string out to dry. Once it’s dry, use it in your crafts.
