Superheroes are a fun theme to introduce to children to get them excited about learning! Our Superhero Letter Rescue activity is a great way to learn letter recognition, letter identification, and fine motor skills! It’s a fun and free alphabet printable that you have got to try!

Who doesn’t love superheroes?! They’re amazing! From being able to fly to having super strength, superheroes are just plain AWESOME! Children LOVE our Superhero Letter Rescue Activity! I can’t stress that enough! They LOVE it! There are so many ways that you can use it to help reinforce letters.

26 superhero cards – our superheroes come with 3 different skin tones and different hair styles. We’re all about diversity!
52 capes (26 uppercase and 26 lowercase)

There are so many great ways to use this activity! Children will fly the letter capes to the superhero with the matching letter and clip the cape on the card. I always start with children matching the uppercase letter capes to the superhero cards. Once they master that, I have them move on to matching the lowercase letter cards.

If your child gets overwhelmed by matching all 26 letters at once, start them with a smaller number. You could always start with A-E (5 cards) first and then slowly add in the other letters.

The prep is easy! Simply print this activity, laminate, and cut out the cards. Cut out the capes and glue them to clothespins and you’re ready!
